JOY in shirt form

FRL has a really beautiful way of taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary...that's exactly what the Painters shirt is. The perfect sleeves, body shape, and that frill is the one that makes it look 'done' even when you're throwing it on and running out of the door. Couldn't love it any more and the buttons are the the most beautiful effect. Made with care and to such high standards, it washes beautifully and has become a wardrobe saviour !

I'm terribly disappointed with the

I'm terribly disappointed with the whole experience beginning with the customer service, right to return and finally the quality of the piece. I bought an unlined dress thinking it would be lightweight but still wearable, which is not the case - the fabric is so transparent it would be OK as beach pareo but unfortunately nothing else. The fit is also very unflattering, you look like you're wearing a potato sack. Perhaps it looks good on models size 8 but not anyone bigger. Besides that, I reached out to the shop over 4 weeks before my planned trip to make sure the order will be delivered in time. I was assured that it's plenty of time and I'm welcome to place the order. Sadly, three weeks later I was the one chasing this up with the shop and told that she seamstress hasn't finished. As there was a week to go I hoped that once I reminded them my order would be prioritised and will reach me in time. Three emails later nothing happened and I was told they won't make it in time. Finally, the only reason why I decided to buy such an expensive dress was the right to return it unless you order some bespoke changes to the cut. As it turns out the return policy is misleading as they accept returns only on pieces that are faulty. So after 7-week long ordeal I end up with a terrible-cut, 80% polyester beach pareo that costs almost £300. Tbh this is the worst purchase I've ever made.
