I purchased the Redline Radar
I purchased the Redline Radar 360, and honestly, I am very disappointed with it. In my opinion, most of what is said about this device is not true.
Without an internet connection or phone pairing, it works very poorly. It only warns about cameras roughly 100–200 meters in advance, which is not enough time to react safely or slow down properly.
I was driving on the motorway when there were two buses ahead, and there was radar enforcement. I’m now expecting fines because this device didn’t detect anything at all. Even if it might not have fully protected me in that situation, the fact that it gave zero warning is unacceptable.
I’ve also noticed that it often misses detections completely. One time there was a police officer on a bridge using a radar gun, and the device didn’t pick up any signal whatsoever.
Overall, it is very unreliable and often seems to lag or fail entirely. I would strongly advise against buying it. I’ve been using it for several weeks now, and it has not impressed me at all. In my experience, it feels misleading compared to what is advertised.
I also have a much cheaper alternative device, and it performs significantly better. It detects average speed zones, warns me about cameras up to 500 meters in advance, and even tracks GPS accurately. Even without recent updates, it still works reliably.
In comparison, the Redline device is slow, inaccurate, and unreliable even in basic GPS tracking. It feels like a waste of money.
In my opinion, do not buy it and do not waste your money. There are much better and cheaper options available.
