Found This place while traveling in Japan. Looked them up online and saw they had several locations. Ended up stopping by the Kyoto location. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and helped to provide a translator to setup the ring selection. We were able to see samples and picked out the materials to be used. The ring was then shipped to me when I returned back to the USA. The quality is amazing as well as the attention to detail.

I first found mokumegane-ya online while browsing, and since we go often to Japan, I brought my then fiancee there to check it out. Even though we didn't have time to make an appointment, the staff at the store (the one near omotesando) were very accommodating. They showed us all the available designs, photos from previous happy customers. My Japanese is horrible, but communication was not an issue - they had a translator via video-link that can help you out in English. We ordered the rings via e-mail after we got home, and picked the rings up on another trip to Tokyo. The way the rings were kept in the special box, the meaning of the tie around it, and of course the rings itself were perfect in every way. The technique the rings were made even helped me write our vows, and featured prominently in our photos. There's just nothing like it, compared to all the other jewelers we looked at. If you would like something unique and that will signify your love for your significant other, this is it!

I made my order through the internet. The employees were always very kind and helpful. It was easy to place the order and on the day of the pick up they had someone who spoke english ready to help me. Also, the ring was gorgeous. Overall, a perfect experience :) Thank you for everything!
