I burn a LOT of candles. I used to use Pier I but they started flaring up unexpectedly and scents became more overbearing. Switched to Yankee - they had a great selection of votives and many burned very cleanly. Then about 6 - 8 years ago their scents seemed to change and burning produced more carbon. I gradually switched over to PartyLite - they burn clean, no flare-ups, have a wide scent selection, and are producing more of the woodsy scents which I prefer. I do wish there more votives available.
