Tested this backpack on a 5-day trekking after purchase and its performance surpassed expectations. Extremely gentle on the back, plenty of room for water and attention to little details that really make the difference (es. external pockets). Since then I've also been using it for small trips. It fits under the plane seat so you don't have to pay for a carry-on and you can walk around for an entire day without it ever being a burden. Highly recommended.
