I have had the Private Reserve before and find it an excellent coffee. That is the only reason I was willing to buy the 5 pound bag. Being the only coffee drinker in my household, that much coffee seems to be a risk to maintain freshness. I've never bought whole bean before either, so finding an inexpensive way to grind the beans has been a challenge. I am also experimenting with different brewing methods, drip maker, French press, and percolator. So this is a journey. The whole purchasing and delivery process met expectations. All I can say is this coffee is amazingly great. Smells wonderful. You can smell the cocoa before you take your first sip. And when you take your first sip you taste all the flavors that was roasted in the beans. I'm very happy with my purchase and will buy again.
