Initially diagnosed as bladder infection. When pain got worse the next morning, yvonne was given a shot and told that if the pain didnt return in an hour, she was cleared to fly. Excruciating pain returned 3 hours later, halfway across the ocean. We went to ER upon landing. Urine test said there was no infection, and a CT scan showed that there was a Kidney stone. Not sure why we should pay the bill we just got.

I sustained a distal radius fracture on west Maui on a Fri am. Went to urgent care north of Kaanapali and saw Dr Adams. x-ray and his viewing confirmed colles fracture. Sent to hospital er near north coast/airport and had to deal with; little ice for length of trip, no meds, and onlt x-ray... no summary. ER doc at hospital wanted to know why the fracture wasn't reduced and realigned at your location. So do I? surgery followed on mainland 7 days later. Why should I pay for physician services when little done? xray was useful and used. SUGGEST- your west Maui locations become enabled to do splinting of wrist breaks

Seen by a PA who was very nice, but did not want to do a rectal and did not do a urinalysis, both of which were indicated. Offered me an antispasmodic injection even though the spasm had passed. I later had gross hematuria and a kidney stone.

Was disappointed this visit. Both the nurse? And the billing person mistook me for another patient. Didn't give me the warm fuzzy I had a year ago when I visited this urgent care.
