I injured my foot hiking on the mainland the day before returning home to Maui. I went to DOC's in Honokawai and they checked me in from the parking lot..! I was X-RAYed minutes later and a definitive diagnosis of no break (quite relieving..!) and a treatment plan for a severe sprain was given. Total time was about 30 mins. Everyone was super nice, professional and helpful. Already on the mend...Thank you Doctors On Call..!

I was so impressed with my recent visit to DOC. I called the Honokowai offfice before going in, as I was unsure about the COVID-19 protocols at this particular location. I was told to park right outside of the office, call the office, and someone would come out to my car to check me in. One of the nurses came out to my car quickly, wearing PPE, to take my temp and get my insurance info, and reason for my visit. She asked me screening questions to make sure that I was unlikely to have COVID before I could enter the office. After my car-side screening, I was brought straight into an exam room (which was immaculate, by the way) where Shannon Richards, FNP, provided me with her care. Shannon was professional, easy to talk to, and really listened to my concerns. Overall my experience was stress-free and I felt that the safety of patients and their workers is of utmost importance at DOC, which is so crucial during this pandemic. I would highly recommend DOC for any urgent care needs on Maui.

When i was recently not well, Doctors On Call Maui was right there to help me. I tried to get an appointment with my primary care giver, and I was told to go to the hospital. That was not an option for me. There was a Covid 19 Cluster at the hospital. Also, they didn't have an opening to see my doctor for two weeks. I was able to see to see a professional at Doctors On Call. No hospital... some medicines... and i got well. Thank you Doctors On Call.
