Convenience and professionalsim
On the morning of October 27th, I went into Dctors on Call (Times Market center) complaining about a high fever and difficulty urinating. Then triage nurse suggested that I have a urinary test and a flu test. I did have the flu,(strain B) but unfortunately the staff forgot (or did not 5hink it was necessary) to take the urinary test. I went back the following day complaining.of.the same urinary symtoms and once they did the urine test they determine I had a urinary tract infection. Overallll the service was friendly and professional, but it was not efficient in the fact that I had to go in two days in a row which was difficult given the way I felt and the extra charges incurred. If both tests had been run on the same day as suggested, I could have started the UTI medications 24 hours earlier A special thanks to Dr. Adams..
He was my physician on the second day, immediately recognizing my urinary infection problem, started immediately with a shot and a course of anti-biotics and followed-up with phone calls to see how I was doing over the next couple of days.
