Great shoes, bought larger than usual and still too tight.

Perhaps I pulled the trigger too fast. In my haste, I assumed that ordering from Allbirds - where I've gotten several pairs of 100% wool shoes in the past - I'd be getting a shirt of similar makeup. Instead the shirt's about 1/2 wool with a bunch of synthetic material mixed in. It's absolutely fine as a shirt - fits well, comfortable, etc — but it's not the excellence I was hoping for. Then again, I've never found a merino shirt at anything close to this price point, so I probably should've known.

I bought my boyfriend his second pair of wool allbirds for his birthday. He loves them. I bought myself a pair of the runners and I am a little disappointed in the quality as I’ve only had them for a month and the fabric is already piling. I have been taking good care, haven’t event thrown them in the wash, but they don’t look as new as they should with the 8 times I’ve worn them.

I was thrilled to receive the shoes and use them for a vacation. 8 hours into wearing the shoes (most of which sitting on a plane), I developed a very bad blister on left heel. Like the shoes overall but the break-in period was rough.
