What a mixed bag!
Carnivore Club, an idea I adore, but not executed the right way for me. CC started off with sending me a double dose of fabulous meat. But wait, double? Did I order that? I swear I didn't, they swear I did, and of course charged me twice. After contacting customer service, 3 times, it seemed the problem was fixed until next month, when once again I got double, and was charged double again. Another contact to customer service revealed that the original agent didn't cancel my second order because it took extra work. After a threat about the supervisor, the problem was immediately fixed.
Some of the meat included in the boxes was great, but a lot of it was very spicy and frankly overly creative. I was hoping for great versions of classic cured meats, but a lot of it seemed like someone's experiment they were unloading.
