I purchased a Byrna SD for my friend who was travelling across the county to visit her family in her SUV. She would drive for 8 to 12 hours then stop in the nearest town to sleep in her vehicle. For peace of mind she had a can of bear spray with her, in case a four or two legged predator tried to break while she was sleeping. The thing with bear spray is that if your in the same vehicle and spray it, your getting the same treatment as an attacker…and now the vehicle is full of the spray. Long story short; she made it to her destination and not one drop of tear because of bear spray. There might have been a few tears from a two legged opportunist who tried to car Jack the SUV. Don’t buy the Byrna…buy 2!
