Burkett, Kim and TForce NAILED IT!!
This was not my first time working with Burkett, and once again, I am extremely pleased. The pricing for the pre-owned ice machine and shipping was very fair, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations.
My account manager, Kim, was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly helpful, highly knowledgeable, and extremely diligent throughout the entire process. Kim was always easy to reach and stayed in constant communication every step of the way. Buying used equipment from a dealer several states away can feel like a risky gamble, but Kim and the Burkett team made it a seamless and stress-free experience.
Kim went above and beyond by sharing detailed photos of the machine and answering all my questions with honesty and precision. Her care and transparency gave me complete confidence in my purchase.
The ice machine was packed perfectly—hats off to the team member responsible for that! The shipping process was smooth, with the shipper staying in touch as promised. Even the delivery driver exceeded expectations. Although I opted out of lift gate service, the driver from TForce went out of his way to unload the machine for me and bring it to my location—an incredibly kind gesture that I truly appreciated (though I wouldn’t expect this to be standard practice!).
As for the condition of the ice machine, my new (used) Manitowoc looks fantastic. It has been installed and is running perfectly, making it an easy decision to keep Burkett as my first choice for both new and used equipment.
In conclusion, Burkett, Kim, and the delivery service were all top-notch. This experience was a perfect example of commitment to quality and customer service—something that’s becoming increasingly rare these days.
