My new Insinkerator LC-50-11 disposer arrived in perfect condition. It is a solid piece of equipment and a great replacement for my Insinkerator Badger 1 unit, which was rarely used but I wanted to upgrade. My new LC-50 was installed yesterday and you can barely hear it running. When I turned on the switch, I looked at the plumber, as I didn't think the unit was running, but he said it was, and it surely was, that's just how quiet it is! It is perfect for home use even though a label on it reads "Not For Home Use" on the body of the disposer. I don't know why Insinkerator put that label on the LC-50-11 unit I have, it's probably a marketing thing. You most certainly can use it in your home. All in all, the Insinkerator LC-50-11 disposer is very well worth the price of about $1,150.00 with tax.
