Awesome attention to detail.

I ordered this bag for work commute and shot travels. It feels luxurious and robust, also attracts compliments for how it looks. The leather accents render even better in real. Internal organisation is amazing. The size is good and it sits well on your back, very confortable. I was hesitant at first to pay as much for a backpack, but I don’t regret it. This is my third B&R purchase and I can only recommend this bag.

The Briggs & Riley brand and their products are true to their word. They are durable, sturdy, and practical for short trips. I appreciate the ease in rolling on hard surfaces (rolling on carpet requires more torque as it drags slightly), the inside zipper compartment helps with packing cubs, separating clothing, or finding oddities quickly, the exterior pockets secured by lock is useful for identification, charger cords or snack, and the firm handle adjusts in height. The color combination is also cool. To easily find at baggage claim, and to blaze your path in the airport with a nifty colorway, I recommend choosing a non-black color. This is the third Torq carry-on suitcase I have purchased in 5 years. The other two remain reliable, so it was not a replace, simply an addition to the collection. Since learning about Briggs & Riley 12 years ago, I have remained loyal. The lifetime guarantee, their continual product enhancements, and reliability are why I keep coming back. My initial thought was the lifetime guarantee was a gimmick- 'is this really true' or 'why would a company forever repair a product at no cost'. For me, what happens is you enjoy their product so much, you give away suitcases, still in great condition, to family or friends so they can experience it, and you purchase yourself a new one. Or you replace your previous lower quality suitcases. Luggage can easily be an after thought. Once you test and use B&R, you realize the difference in quality, craft, and peace of mind (in that you are not hoping the zipper remains on, it does not sustain damage if you or others drop it, and there is no substantial wear and tear even after years). Lastly, I believe the Torq has been discontinued. I recommend their newer, similar models that expand. Or locating a used Torq. Happy travels!
