Yes the new output gear
Yes the new output gear was needed and works great! I found that a little bit of the noise nuances I was having on both of my bike setups with the old one were quieted after the new gear was installed, although, I had to adjust the gear mesh a little looser with there being more meat on the new gear. Also I wasn't aware it came with new screws, I had already gone to two hardware stores to get new ones and did two pre-coatings of blue threadlocker and let them dry for use once it arrived, but then it actually came with the screws that were already coated in blue threadlocker. Also the install instructions on the bottom of page 30 in your elevate user manual were crucial in the install process, but was not made aware or linked to those instructions, I had to find them myself. I found that the rotating 1/8 of a turn and pulling just the slightest bit as I went around to get the old one off was the only way it worked, I wouldn't have known that without reading pg 30 of the user manual. And putting the new one on did work with just the palm press method, up until the last, let's say 1/16th of an inch and it just wouldn't go on any further. I took the old cog that I had just removed and placed it on top of the new one, while laying the drive unit on a rag on my concrete garage floor and stepped on it and that is what it took for it to finally click all the way down into place. Hopefully this information helps! I am back up and running again and am enjoying your product, as it is truly a game changer, thank you!
