The Bimotal Elevate was a fantastic purchase to upgrade my bike. The kit was easy to install using the detailed instructions. The supportive power is easy to modulate providing longer more enjoyable rides. Great light weight addition to the bike that I really like. Certainly worth the wait and for an affordable price. I’m very happy with the Elevate!

I used it today for a ride for 70 km with 700 m of total elevation. I used Bimotal only on climbs and when starting from traffic lights, and I still had half the battery (2 out of 4 bars) remaining after the ride. Thanks to the system's light weight, the fun of the descents remained undiminished, it was fantastic. If there were slightly less motor resistance and less gear mesh vibration caused when not using the motor assist, it would be the ultimate e-bike.

My only prior experience with

My only prior experience with the ebike genre was from a product from the PRC Ebike Factory #7 (brand name withheld) with fat 20” tires, so the mindful engineering refinement shines in the Elevate kit. Intuitive install and low number of parts makes for a rewarding assembly experience (but those with two left hands should let a bike shop have the pleasure). The power of a 52V system is real! Insta-grin with every trigger! It flattens the steep climbs and enables you to carry higher speeds with aplomb. However, not sure if it’s by design, but at times the system felt governed (perhaps to protect the motor/battery) but was unable to reach 20mph despite my best efforts. App seems underdeveloped/underwhelming but it could be due to my cell phone version (?). BT connectivity is stable and connects instantly, but the wheel size inputs and configure sliders yield no noticeable changes in performance. This has been the singular best upgrade I’ve made to my Cannondale Bent II and looking forward to seeing more innovations from Bimotal in the future.
