Actually works - bought to cover up two very large windows in the bedroom that was facing a new neighbor with ridiculously loud exhaust that kept waking me up in the middle of the night. I went with these because after a lot of research I understand that you need mass to block sound and these have mass loaded vinyl on one side where as many online ads for sound blocking curtains don't. This muted the sound enough I've had peaceful nights for 2 weeks now. Fast shipping! The bad: It is ugly but I knew this from the listing pics. We ended up not using the included hanging screws because the grommets aren't lined up straight on the curtains. It was a little smelly but aired out after a few days. None of this would prevent me from buying even if I knew ahead of time. I rather get sleep.

I needed to reduce sound transmission between rooms in a house. The existing doors were ineffective. By installing the Isole Sound Barrier sheet over the door, we vastly muffled the sounds between rooms. The sound transmission from that room is now lower than the sound of the refrigerator in the kitchen. Exactly the product I needed
