Used Armorpoxy II Primer for the mechanical prepared floor. Then Armorclad and military grade none skid topcoats. It transformed the shop and made it look greatly impressive. Great project.

I'd done a garage floor myself a few years prior with a one-step epoxy-paint sold at a big-box retailer several years ago, and from that I learned to never do such a thing again because the paint started coming off within a year or two. For my basement project this time, in wanting to do it right, I did some research on long-lasting, durable epoxy paints, and was led to Armor Poxy, which from start to finish, has been outstanding. I did the work myself with some helpers; even rented a grinder and silica dust vacuum. Although it was a lot of work, it looks fantastic now that it is finished. Chris provided superb customer service every step of the way, even with tedious questions since I was clueless and really didn’t know what I was doing. The floor looks more beautiful than I ever imaged, and I am extremely happy, not just that I chose to forgo wood, lvp, and carpeting, but also that I chose Armor Poxy.
