I regret purchasing the AquaTru Carafe. Within just a few weeks, the water developed a bitter taste and I needed a replacement VOC filter. After approximately 3 months, the machine became extremely slow, started making unusual noises, and both the filter and descaling warning lights appeared. I was then told this was due to my local water hardness, meaning much more frequent descaling and potentially much higher maintenance costs than I ever expected when buying a premium water purifier. I also found customer support very disappointing. Despite explaining all the issues and asking for a reasonable solution, I was simply advised to continue troubleshooting, and my request for a refund was refused. I wish the true maintenance requirements and ongoing costs had been made much clearer before purchase. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.

Terrible customer service and absolut false lifetime for filters, not even half way of what says on the filter in litters.
