The jacket lets a good amount of airflow through while still feeling sturdy. It DEFINITELY runs small. I luckily took the advice from other reviews and went two sizes up. I'm 5'8" 170lbs and ordered XXL. It fits like a glove. My other women's MC jackets are all straight Large. I wish the armor in the elbows and shoulders were just a little sturdier, but I just swapped out the armor from one of my winter jackets including adding the back protector. The back protector makes it a bit snug but it's still okay and nice that it comes with the pouch.
