Neither fit. Turns out both were final sale — a policy that wasn't clearly disclosed at checkout, so I had no chance to factor that into my decision. Customer service (shoutout to Ian - who may or may not be an actual person) was polite but unhelpful: lots of "we appreciate your feedback" language, no actual answer on whether the checkout disclosure issue would be reviewed or fixed. After two follow-ups, still no real engagement with the actual concern — just templated empathy. Donated the shorts to a shelter so they wouldn't go to waste. Won't be ordering from a new brand again without clear return terms up front.
