No regrets with this purchase
No regrets with this purchase so far. I've had it for a couple of weeks. I'd give it about a 93 out of 100.
Here is how to make it perfect:
Provide immediate feedback during body composition readings if the readings aren't great. So far I get a message once in a while saying that a previous body composition reading was incomplete. I would like that feedback while I am standing on the scale so I can correct it immediately. Help me learn the proper posture and positioning in real time to get it right. The way you show center of gravity when doing the weigh-in is excellent feedback. Try to come up with a way to provide similar feedback for posture while doing the additional readings.
It would be nice to have a contextual preview of Withings+. I had seen it before, but haven't seen how it changed or how it works with the BodyScan 2 instrument. I'm tempted to do the one year, but I really need to see it in action first.
I haven't figured out if there's a way to get the ECG tracings to all show at the same time. I have to toggle between leads 1, 2, and 3. I want to see all six traces on one page. It is fine to scroll left to right. There should be enough room on the mobile screen to not have to scroll vertically.
A little more warning or description about the ECG qualification phase would be nice. A third party has to qualify the ECG reading since this is a medical-grade instrument. My understanding is that once this third party qualifies the readings, no further data is sent to them. But researching this was a little complicated. It was not entirely clear what was going on and I very nearly sent the instrument back under the false assumption that this third party was going to get my data continuously.
I use the Withings app as a single pane of glass for everything. It plays nicely with Samsung Health and Health Connect. I also incorporate Dexcom, Hevy, Polar, MyFitnessPal for nutrition, and data from a Samsung Galaxy Watch8.
Not too shabby.
