Dental benefits have not changed much with the times/economy. The maximums allowed on dental plans are nowhere near enough for anyone that anything other than a basic filling done. This is not limited to Delta Dental but all dental plans as far as I know.

We’ve been happy with Delta Dental but it is time to review your limits - one crown eats up your maximum payments, let alone implants or dentures. It has been decades since you’ve raised maximums

I go to the dentist on a regular basis and I have not had any issues with Delta. I see my dentist that I have been seeing and the bills are paid promptly. If there is a balance after the insurance pays it is small.
