I ordered 200 custom pencils in a rich royal purple, and Pencils. com shipped them in five days through a snowstorm which in the prestige world I teach about would be considered almost indecently efficient. There was no tissue paper, no handwritten note from a founder who discovered her passion for cedarwood while forest-bathing in the Pacific Northwest. The pencils simply were. This is either a company catastrophe or the most radical act of confidence I've ever witnessed from a dot-com. The lacquer was GORGEOUS and rich a saturated, deliberate purple that made each pencil look like it had somewhere important to be. The gold debossing was excellent: clean, precise and easy to read. I bought these for a college seminar I teach on luxury brands. . . Pencils. com gave me exactly what I asked for, exactly when I needed it, with zero mythology attached, if you think about it, is its own kind of radical luxury. Five stars, no notes.

These pencils are very easy to purchase from the company and delivery is very good and on-time. But the main focus is on the pencil and I find it to be exactly as described on the website. They are easily sharpened, the lead is very good and the eraser on top does its job so easily. I am glad I found them after many years of mediocre products!

I recently purchased a box of Blackwing 602's and an accompanying notebook clip from this company, and both orders shipped out quickly. The items themselves are excellent quality. The 602's are lovely pencils, and the clip to hold them works exactly as expected. Will absolutely buy more gear from Pencils. com in the future.
