Almost perfect

This is a great stair climbing cart - with a few exceptions. It's difficult to tilt the cart once it's loaded up. It would be helpful to have something to step on to give some leverage to pull it back. I have the Versa Trolley that comes with a bag to hold items. The bag, unfortunately, is a pain. It's floppy and hard to put things into. The cart really needs a sturdier bag that in some way can stand on it's own and stay open and give some support to make filling it with items easier. I'm planning on creating one for the cart myself. I also wish the wheels were just a bit sturdier. Compared to the other stair climbing carts I've tried, I'm much happier with this one since it's capacity to hold more quantity and weight is better than the others. It definitely needs a few tweaks though to make it an absolutely perfect stair climbing cart.

Great design!

It extended easily, andI effortlessly took my portable air conditioner (about 60lbs) down our back stairs, and up one stair to our garage. It folded easily, and locked securely. It was a little challenging to maneuver at first, because of the 3 wheel design, but got quickly used to it. I wish the handles were stronger. The right side of the handle broke off, but was still workable.

I now own two!

I bought my first one and really liked it BUT since I can only use it for packages 16” or less due to the location of the wheels, I had to go back and get the Lift model which is deigned with wheels behind the tongue. Many of the packages I handle are 18-20” wide. I will say that the “great bunjee” I bought is not really as useful for my needs compared to the longer strap I purchased from them later. I highly recommend getting some kind of strap due to the potential for boxes to fall off when going over steps. I have a downstairs studio and have a series of steps that I have to use to take heavy items out and the Upcart wheels make this a much easier trip compared to a conventional cart.

Super Convenient, but minor issues

The UpCart is exactly as described. It folds up nice and conveniently and I've used it with over 100 lbs going both up and down steps. I do have a couple of issues with it though. First, lifting the handle, one side telescopes correctly while the other doesn't stay in sync, so I have to hold that side when extending the handle to make sure it is balanced. If it's not balanced, the handle gets very unstable. First attempt at stairs it was in the unstable state and the result was not pretty. Next, the bottom panel that folds down doesn't actually click into place. It counts on the weight being applied. But when there's no weight and the cart is just sitting there, it can fold over and collapse on it's own. When weight is applied and you're using the cart, when you go to turn you can see the wheels torque a bit. Has me worried about longevity, but the cart is fairly inexpensive. Lastly, I was going down some stairs, concrete, bit steep but nothing out of the ordinary, and the bottom metal frame of the UpCart scratched against the ground leaving a couple of marks. The wheels should be a bit bigger and perhaps a protective skid plate should be installed on the bottom. So I listed the issues I've found but overall they are fairly minor especially for the convenience and cost of the cart. But I think you could make some minor improvements to the design and produce a significantly better cart. Regards, Jim McGarvey
