Very pleased with the watch, the build, and the accuracy of the movement. The videos are the best.

Bought for my husband as a birthday gift. He is a watch enthusiast, but this was his first time assembling his own watch. He thought it was so much fun, and really enjoyed it. Wears it proudly too!

This was a fun experience. I marvel at the engineering and artistry that goes into these things, and the kit I got allowed me to take part! I had all the tools I need, and with the videos completed the project in two to three hours. The hardest part was of course setting the second hand, but the videos were great guides. I would've never have found the stem release lever without the video! I think a loupe holder would be a good add to the toolkit. I wound up setting the loupe behind my reading glasses, and that seemed to do the trick for me. Bottom line, I loved the experience and love the watch!

The DIY Watch Club kit and tools for the 42mm NH70 Dive Watch with Cyrstyal Dial made for a truly enjoyable project. This is the seond Seiko movement based watch I have built. The tools provided are of very nice quality. I particularly appreciated the Second Hand Setting Tool which made this potentially challenging step far easier. I also appreciated that the kit came with a setting stem which was already trimmed to the proper length. The two most challenging and potentially frustrating steps of building a watch are not really a concern with this kit and the tools. The watch itself is really unique and cool looking!
