Customer Service Oddities

I initially called to order some replacement cushions. No one picked up, so I left a voicemail. No one called back. About 2 weeks later I called and talked to a guy about buying some cushions. I was told they don't sell them separately. When I told him we talked to someone a few month ago to price it out and that they would sell cushions, he changed his tune. He then asked how much I was quoted. I gave him the price, he sent me a link to order the cushions and we were set. Or so you'd think... After a week and a half, I noticed I'd never gotten a shipping confirmation. I called back and asked what the status was of my order. I had the order number and the gal there was able to quickly find my invoice. She said: "Oh, that's weird. It doesn't look like they've sent it yet." She then told me she would send it out that day, priority. I guess I was sort of hoping "priority" meant "rush" but that wasn't in the card. It took another week for the cushions to get to our house. Long story short: We love the deck furniture we received from them, but it's a bit of a challenge to get the sort of customer service you'd expect and deserve.

Overall great but missing a few details...

We love the way this furniture looks on our deck! We live in Pittsburgh, PA so we have four seasons. We purchased a cover in hopes of leaving the furniture on our deck year round. The cover that came was very thin material, and certainly not made for year round use. The cover also became a parachute around the furniture and would actually lift the furniture off of the deck enough for the straps to come out from under the furniture. We returned the cover and will have to figure out something as far as winter is concerned on our own. The second problem is the cushions do not attach in anyway to the furniture. With any kind of wind the cushions were blown around the yard. We ended up hand sewing straps onto the cushions and then feeding them through the wicker and making a simple knot. This has worked perfectly, so while it was disappointing we had to do this ourselves it's fixed. (We also tried outdoor Velcro but it wouldn't stick to the cushions, and barely stuck to the wicker). The only last negative thing we had experienced was the way the feet were wrapped. The feet seemed to be wrapped first and then attached to the furniture making the removal of the plastic to protect the feet very difficult. Some covers pulled right off, and some pulled in weird ways and there are still chunks of the wrap suck between the foot and the base of the seat. We love how conforitable and beautiful the furniture is! Despite these few hiccups we would likely still buy the furniture again, just not the cover!

Patio furniture

It was about a year ago now that I ordered some patio furniture. Hard to remember all of the details but it seem like I was on the phone every day for a week or so trying to straighten out some problems I was having with the order itself. Never did get things sorted out it was just a lot of frustration. However I did receive some patio furniture but it was of such poor quality I need up just donating it.
