This company confuses artisanal imperfections
This company confuses artisanal imperfections with shoddy workmanship and lack of quality control. I ordered a handmade mug to replace my favorite which had broken. It arrived quickly, but the handle was so poorly finished it had what felt like sand under the glaze, This made it uncomfortable, and more importantly, unpleasant to hold. I contacted "customer service" (truly an oxymoron). They asked for photos even though I told them you couldn't see the bumps. Their response: it's that the piece was hand made. When one buys an item online we have to trust that the company will send to best they have. NO ONE would buy this mug in person. I have no TRUST in this company. I've been buying hand made items for over 50 years: from India to Africa, Vietnam to Israel, Eastern Europe to South America. I prefer to purchase from NGOs and organizations that support women, small businesses, and the global community. It's a shame, but I won't shop from the Little Market again.
