We purchased a new cover that you could walk on. It fits nice and snug, just like my measurements showed. The cover is very nice, very thick, and has a reinforced hinge. The hot tub is outside, so insulation was a concern. Even in sub-zero weather this winter, the tub hasn't lost a single degree!
