We have been sleeping on latex for the past 50 years. We purchased our last latex mattress on 1/1/01and decided we should replace it so we purchased this mattress from you. It is the medium firmness. I am finding it more difficult to sleep on this mattress -- it is too firm. I am 82 and a side sleeper. My husband is also 82 and a back sleeper and he has less trouble sleeping on it. Our old mattress also had a slat system and this mattress we are using on a flat surface because it is thicker than our old mattress and the slats make it too high. I don't know how much difference that is causing. I would be happy to entertain some thoughts and comments from you at PlushBeds.

I purchased a queen-sized Botanical Bliss 10” mattress, medium firmness. Very pleased that there were no funky smells when opening it! Got the deal with sheets, two pillows, and a mattress cover. Sheets are very soft and nice to sleep on; the pillows were not comfortable for us (too big and the shredded latex gives them a lumpy feel). The mattress cover/protector was a little less substantial than expected, but will get the job done. As the company notes, it takes some time to get used to the feel of the mattress. I am 5’4” 130 lbs and my boyfriend is 6'2"ft 210 lbs and we are mostly side sleepers and sometimes back sleepers. After about a week and a half of pretty rough sleeping, it started to feel more comfortable and we started to fall asleep easier and sleep better, but I’ve woken up every morning with a sore back (like I slept on the ground, even though the mattress feels pretty supportive.) Prior to this mattress I had a (likely toxic) $400 Simmons Beautyrest that I would be excited to sleep in every night. While I loved having Plush beds as an eco-friendly, non-toxic mattress option, we have never been able to say that we love sleeping on it (and it was a good deal more expensive than the beautyrest.) After reading the reviews, I never imagined we would be unhappy with it, but we are thinking that we’d like to return it.

Took a long time to get the bed after ordering. I did track shipping and noticed at one point, it made it from California to St. Louis, but then was going to shipped back West to Oklahoma. I called the shipping co direct after not getting Plush Beds to help me and they acknowledge it was on the wrong truck. The bed itself has significantly less padding than we had hoped and when one moves on the bed, it causes the other to move. This shouldn't be the case. A little disappointed.

I was excited to get these sheets after I read reviews about how these sheets keep people cooler who get hot from memory foam mattresses. However, I feel like I spent way too much money for sheets I only used for one week since they made me sleep hotter. Since then I have switched back to my old cotton sheets, that do a better job of keeping me cooler at night. Everyone has different experiences, but I probably will stick to old fashioned natural fibers from now on.

Customer service has not met my expectations, and, I continue to receive requests for reviews when my order is not even complete. What the heck? I’m still unsure of mattress and plushbed. I sincerely hope my opinion changes.
