I'm very happy with the priduct, packaging for safety and delivery from Mission.

Having worn out our larger fry pan, I was in search for a replacement. I found several at Mission RS that I liked but only needed one pan so narrowed my choice to the Thunder Group 12" Aluminum Fry Pan with Quantum II coating. The first day we received it we tried it out (on bacon and fried eggs) and it is wonderful! I always use butter, for flavor, when making eggs so I can't say if this pan could fry eggs without either butter or non-stick spray. But that was not a factor for me and Mission RS does not claim it. This pan is extremely well made and it shows no signs of hot spots or that is might warp. It has some heft to it which, in my opinion, is a good thing but is by no means heavy. It looks great, cooks food great, and the non-stick coating looks superior to anything I've had in the past (and at an age over 50 I've had my fair share of pots and pans - including the ones that claim no need for any butter or spray). This pan is also large enough to use as a skillet if you don't have one in your kitchen arsenal, but be aware they do not make a lid for this particular pan (I contacted Mission RS and asked but unfortunately one is not available). This does have a couple of things others might see as flaws. The handle is all metal and does get hot when using the pan for longer periods (like cooking up a couple batches of bacon). Also, the handle is quite long so it may be an issue for some when storing it. None of the "flaws" that one might have as I noted cannot be easily dealt with. If you cannot fit it in your cabinet, then hang it up. Either in your kitchen on a pot rack or, like I do with larger pans that won't fit in my drawers, I hang it up on the wall in my pantry. And the hot handle is no problem as it is easy enough to slip on an insulated kitchen glove to protect your hand. They also make silicone sleeves you can slip over metal handles but personally, I've never tried them. I love this pan! It's excellent quality and cooks very well. The price was great and the service was excellent (when I contacted them asking about a lid). I'll certainly be coming back to Mission RS for my future cookware needs!
