Arrived healthy and lush, I orderered this to replace a 2-year old one from another nursery that didn't make it through winter after transplanting in fall. This one still looks better than the other 2 it is planted with which are 1 and 2 years old (the 2 year old from that same nursery is struggling this year)! The other plants I've purchased from you are doing great, I hope that they still look good in the years to come.

I ordered the Autumn Brilliance serviceberry in late winter, and it wasn’t ready to ship right away. Every couple of weeks I checked on the order, and when I called customer service, they were very helpful and explained the delay. Since they are based in Wisconsin, they had to wait for the ground to thaw enough to safely harvest the tree. I appreciated the honesty and care they took instead of shipping too early and risking damage to the plant. When it arrived, the plant was very well packaged and protected. It was not bare root—it arrived in a rice-based growing medium mixed with soil, and the roots looked healthy and well supported. After planting, it began leafing out shortly afterward, which was a great sign of plant health. It’s leafing out like crazy now and clearly arrived as a strong, healthy plant. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the quality of the plant and the customer service, and I would definitely order from McKay Nursery again.

I ordered 5 Arrowwood Virburnum Autumn Jazz plants. They arrived packaged extremely well and in great condition. I planted them the next day. They all have leafed out and seem to be happy and healthy!
