Mantels Direct was fine. . . . finished product had an inadequate sized cleat. Only 3 ft for a 5 ft mantel. We had to design and build a more substantial cleat so it wouldn't wiggle or sag at the ends. Not cool to have to put that effort into something we paid quite a bit for .

The mantel quality is pretty decent. Not amazing, but not terrible either. The “install” kit is a joke though. I had to custom make something so I could install it. What they provide is two little pieces of wood that are completely useless.

Mantle arrived damaged but is overall good quality. Customer service that helped me pick out the mantle was wonderful to work with. I’d definitely use this mantle company again

Disappointing

Packing is terrible. Absolutely make the delivery driver wait while you open and verify every piece.
