We absolutely love our farmstand! My students enjoy every aspect of this system from selecting the seedlings to providing the fertilizer and watching the root system grow! The best part is that it takes no time to begin harvesting the plants as there are no nutrients locked up! This photo is after 3 weeks of planting and we already harvested somelettuce 3x!

I love my Farmstand! What a thrill to see the plants grow - and they grow fast! I especially love the herbs, as they are there ready to use, I am able to use just what I need and then they grow back. The tomatoes are far more tasty than anything you can buy in a store, or even a farmers market, because you can eat them minutes after picking them ripe. No soil and little water wasted make me feel good about what I am growing in a small area.

It takes a while to harvest but patience is rewarded! The flavors are more intense and bright than anything you can get in the store. Have already ordered two new risers for my tower and considering getting a second tower!

Fun fact: greens commonly used in salads (lettuce, romaine, and spinach) don’t like growing in temps about 80F. If you’re gardening in Louisiana like me, you’ve learned this lesson the hard way. Because it’s so hot down here, my salad greens quickly bolt and turn bitter before I get to enjoy them. NOT ANYMORE! Now that I can effectively garden indoors with my farmstead, my family and I can enjoy fresh salads daily— all year round. No more expensive slimy salad bags for us!
