Well worth the money. Feels firm upon first try, but very supportive and doesn't cause pain; it actually prevents pain. I was skeptical, but am thrilled with this product. I had hip pain nightly, shoulder pain and back pain occasionally. Usually woke up in pain. No more, thanks to this mattress topper.
