I spent 3 days before a customer clarified that the Outlet Hose had a plug in it. I was afraid I would break something if I pulled it out. It's very hard to connect the Inlet Hose. A hair dryer is needed to make the hose warm/flexible enough to connect it. The video shows an inlet hose that is more flexible and is easier to connect. The product appears to be of high quality.

Extremely fast service - almost faster than you could blink an eye. Wow! The only things I noticed were that the bill was in American dollars versus Canadian (although you knew by the site what the Canadian dollar figure was. Also, the problems when ordering from the USA to Canada is that you never know what the customs charges will be. The package was checked by customs and the approximate cost for customs, taxes, etc. in Alberta was close to $35 in additional fees (although I did know beforehand that these charges would be additional). It's quite tough to buy many products in Canada, and maybe even around the world now, because more and more big companies, it seems, are driving out the smaller ones, so I do fear that one day everyone in the world will be able to buy a certain product from only one store and there will be no competition, which will raise prices to high they will become unaffordable to most. Don't know why this product couldn't have been purchased in Canada to start with. It used to be sold here. I did email the supplier a couple of questions after receiving it, and never got any reply (or at least none I noticed). Overall though, the product is quite easy to figure out. The only problem some people may have is that they might not understand what uSv means, as the manual doesn't explain that (as far as I could see anyway). This is the second dosimeter I have owned. The first was stolen. This is the type of device that would be very tempting to most light fingered individuals. Once you own one, you will never want to be without again! Everyone should own a Soeks dosimeter.

The only reason I didn't go with 5 stars here (I did, on Amazon) is the "User's Manual" provided. Seriously, folks, these machines are sophisticated and they're expensive, and the Manual doesn't even come close to doing the machine justice. It is sketchy, out-of-date, and poorly translated. I believe that if you invested in a professionally done manual, you would save much time and money on service calls, e-mails, etc.
