Formaticum

I'm absolutely loving the cheese storage bags and so far I like the storage sheets, though I think I prefer the bags. It seems counterintuitive to store my goat cheese log sans original packaging in a Formaticum storage bag, but so far so good. It's been nearly one week and the goat cheese is still good. That is a vast improvement -- prior to using storage bags I had to consume it quickly before it spoiled. I'll be turning to Formaticum for all my cheese storage needs from now on :)

I’m genuinely thrilled that there’s a compostable version of cheese paper. It’s a single sheet, unlike the original uncompostable version, which has a translucent layer under the paper layer. Because the original wasn’t compostable, I stopped using it and began using beeswax paper instead, which was a pain because I could never adequately wash it for new cheese varieties and it dried out the cheese too frequently. This version is great: it retains moisture of cheddar and Munster that I have thus far packed in it and I’m sure it will hold Gruyere well enough, too. It does not come with stickers, but I just use color coded rubber bands to keep it in place.

Best storage for cheeses I’ve ever used… wish I’d found these bags a long time ago. They really work as advertised. The cheese stays in perfect condition after opening. This is far better than vacuum sealing open cheese packages - better for the cheese and easier and faster to use with none of the waste of vacuum bags.

The cheese paper products are super and customer service is excellent, truly dedicated to satisfying customers. When one order was delayed, Formaticim staff quickly replaced it and was more determined to ensure my receiving products on time than whose fault it was or who should pay. Refreshing service. Formaticum’s cheese paper (and bags) are terrific. Cheese stays fresh so much longer, they don’t add any plastic smells, or the danger of food contamination. I learned about it living in Europe and am thrilled that we have it available in the US. Thanks, Formaticum!
