Dream Decking

No advice or practical support for installation. Not even a dedicated video is available. No instruction or manual!!

i ordered my decking and was given a delivery date. a couple of weeks later to say it wasn’t in stock and would be around another 5 weeks for delivery m. was then given a date for delivery and it still didn’t turn up. after contacting them the day after they had changed my delivery to another 2 days later after waiting in all day without any message or anything from them. This was the second time ordering from this company and the second time the delivery has been delayed. won’t be ordering again !

The screws are missing from the main order or which are supposed to come with the hidden fasteners and also the classic fasteners which I have got but no screws

Gave shop size we wanted. They designed what material we'd need. Not enough joists ordered (installation guide says 30cm apart, only enough for 60cm). No joist fittings ordered., Corner trim & end caps ordered (don't need both). Adustable pedestal ordered, can't be used with composite decking provided. Starting fitting for deck boards ordered but none for the rest of the boards. Called up, asked to order joist fittings and decking board fittings. Joist fittings/ screws were for wood! When boards come, one was damaged. This was sorted. Called about sending back joist screws were going to charge me £30 to return (they did accept if I returned with damaged board it would be free). Asked about joist fittings. They told me 3 times see installation guide, no info how to put joist together. Then sent video of bloke fitting them. He was using joist hangers. Asked them about these and they had no clue. Bloke on video had to angle grind some joist hangers down. Look everywhere for suitable ones. Size sold everywhere and what they sent me an example of what to buy were the ones the bloke used in the video which were too big and had to angle grind! Was gonna have to wait 4-6 weeks for replacements, when we wanted to finish for summer! Luckily they found some in the company to send us. So the company who sell them the composite joists don't sell relevant fittings. Spoke to another company that sell the same and they advised us rather than send an irrelevant video. Advised by branch that the orderinv system is flawed. Not great service. Only reason we didn't send back was hassle to find more from elsewhere. Was such a hassle to contact them too

Decking delivery delayed by 4 weeks. Very disappointed 😞
