The heat generated by this little burner is truly remarkable. It gives a blue flame which turns yellow/orange in about 7 minutes. It heated our conservatory which is 5m x 4m in about 30 minutes, I then turned it right down by sliding the lid until it was just ticking over, brilliant. It is perhaps a bit expensive to run if you buy small quantities of the fuel, Bio Ethanol, but you can half your cost by buying larger quantities, and of course you can turn it right down for economy. The set of 9 logs/cones is sufficient for our stove, a small Clarkes barrel shaped stove, just make sure they are not in the flame because they will smell and maybe produce smoke which you do not want. You can put a few drops of scented oil on the burner top, again not in the flame. No maintenance, no smoke, no fuss. Perfect.

Truly love it! It creates the cozy atmosphere we were looking for, I just wish the fuel lasts longer.

I am moving to a house that has had its chimney removed and was disappointed that I will no longer be able to enjoy real fires in winter. Then my daughter said that I could get a gel or ethanol fire that did not need a chimney, so I googled it and came across this product which sounded ideal. I have an old, small, cast iron fireplace that I will now take with me and this mini burner fits into it snugly - brilliant! Roll on the cold weather!
