Wrong color delivered!

Received my range hood, quality was perfect and color (although the wrong color) well done. A beautiful product. The reason I'm giving them 1-star is that I emailed my sales guy with color selection. Its a two part color, main body and trim. The hood came in the trim color (which matches my cabinets). They said "you approved the CAD drawing, that is why we ask you to approve it" . . . so its my fault. I explained that I emailed my sales guy my response to the CAD drawing, that two colors are requested but only one shows on the CAD. . but its my fault (which it is right, I should have called and verified!!). I didn't want to return it (going in this week) and honestly, I don't think they would have allowed me to return it since "its my fault for approving the CAD". So if your spending $6k with Coppersmith then don't belive the CAD drawing they send you . . . MAKE A CALL AND GO OVER IT WITH YOUR REP!!! They gave me $150 refund for their error! To get 5 stars I would like to have seen a reinbursement of at least $2k. Also note, this product is manufactured in China. I thought they were an American company.

Worst customer service, many delays in communication, production and delivery

Cumbersome and slow production/ design process. Overcharged me as trade member for samples I did not need. Delivery was originally estimated at 6-8 weeks when in reality we did not receive the hood until 12-13 weeks (almost TWICE) as long, which put my project in jeopardy. Nothing was offered to make up for all the inconveniences along the way. Will not work with this company again.

Custom range hood

The range hood was NOT made to the correct specifications. It was larger than specified so it would not fit in between my cabinets. They told me to squeeze the back end together to get it to fit which resulted in my cabinets getting damaged. They did not offer to send me a new one made to the correct specifications and they did not refund my money. They refunded me a laughable amount that did not even come close to covering the damages. I would not recommend this company.

Ugly logo "surprises" on custom hoods and long review process

AFTER bill was paid for a custom hood design, we were then told we had to put a "Coppersmith logo" on the front of our custom hood. We did not want the logo stamped so we were asked to pay an additional $500 fee to not have it. This was not disclosed up front- unacceptable. I then approved shop drawings on 3 separate occasions and the technical team dragged their feet about getting things into production. Not the first customer experience I expected with Coppersmith. We are in production now- the finished product and delivery time as promised is still TBD.

Slow response and No Help

As a customer I reached out for general help on a copper table that has 2 glass rings. Common issue for us that don’t wax regularly it and have grandkids. Sent clear photos of the table and issue. Enough information to give me advice but refused because they couldn’t find my order of 8 years ago and I didn’t have the receipt. An easy win for them to help, but failed miserably. Now I’m on a “don’t buy from Copper Smith” kick at the club. Needless.
