Really good price and quality of product but the extra £20 for a longer collar was a negative and interrupted the installation

Please can you look at the length of the threaded tube that fixes the tap fo the work surface, mine is only 20mm thick and the tube is not long enough.Can you supply me on about 6 mm longer please
