First of all, the dimensions
First of all, the dimensions of large and small table on the website are confusing and turned out to be incorrect. They should be swapped. I called Valyou a few times to clarify it and even some of the associates were confused.
I bought the large table and exchanged for small. Valyou sent me the small table promptly. I appreciated that. HOWEVER, there was no follow-up about how to return the large table, until I reached out to Valyou 3 times. Then, one day some random number called 4 times in 5 minutes while I was on the phone in a meeting. At the same time, he shoot me an email saying that" We tried to call you to discuss how we can pick up the item that you would like to return, but we didn't get a response" It was totally unprofessional and not acceptable!
Then, no follow up again for another 2 weeks. I reached out back to Valyou again to remind them that the table is sitting in my garage. Finally, they sent a UPS pickup.
Then, I asked for a refund of $56 to honor the July 4 40% discount on the exchanged coffee table. They say NO and told me the discount can only be applied to the original purchase. And implied that it was my fault as they put clear dimensions on the website.
I'll post it for reminding all customers. Be careful if you run into exchanges. The logistics team is a mess. They don't understand what customer satisfaction is about. Valyou, please be alert! You're losing customers b/c of the bad post-sale customer experience!
