No Door yet No Refund and No Communication
I ordered a new door in mid-May. It was scheduled to arrive on a Friday in mid-June. Then the shipping company arrived the driver showed me the crate that the door was in. The crate was cracked open. There was a warning label on the crate indicating not to accept delivery if there was damage. The driver and I could not tell if the door was damaged and we couldn't open the crate without my accepting delivery. So, I refused shipment. This was between 4:30 and 5:00 pm on a Friday. On Monday I contacted the shipping company and UberDoors. The shipper said I needed to talk to Uberdoors. Uberdoors has not yet responded to my email, attempted communication through their text feature on their website, or the voicemail I left them. I was hopeful that we could determine if the door that was in town was damaged or not and I was still willing to accept it if someone would open the crate and check. But no response. I waited 6 weeks before just disputing the purchase on my credit card.
