We run both wood and aluminum on our cnc machine. I ordered a new 5/16 Oflute bit for cutting holes in 1/4" aluminum extrusions. I push the bit to the limit and run it all day long with only air for cooling. The finish and speed is excellent. 2 other spiral, spiral down 1/4" spektra bits are being used on plywood, excellent finish, clean and quiet. Best bits i have worked with for the applications.

I bought the carbide countersink with tapered bits to predrill teak decking for a foot bridge. Used it for another project first and snapped a bit. By design they are very thin, so I need to be very careful with the next 5 bits! Carbide countersink and plug cutter cut very well.

And top notch products at a reasonable price.

Unfortunately a bit broke after using it only twice. I reached out to Support and the shipped a new router bit within a few hrs. Tools today is a very professional company!
