I have waited a few months to write a review as I wanted to have good use of my 4in1 tap before I reviewed it. If you have an old fashioned, upstairs hot water tank, think carefully about whether a boiling tap is right for you. We did have some teething problems as we have an old fashioned gravitation type hot water tank upstairs and there was insufficient pressure for the normal hot water to come out at anything other than a trickle, this really made using the tap for washing up and rinsing and hand washing impossible. After much toing and froing, trying various solutions recommended by the INTU team, on his own initiative, my husband installed a supplementary pump between the hot water tank and the tap which has solved the issue, but obviously at additional cost. To be fair other makes say up front that these old fashioned tanks are not suitable, but INTU does not say that anywhere on the website or during the discussions we had with them. We did not discuss our hot water set-up before purchase, so I can't say if they would have advised us against it. Anyway, problem solved. I love the tap and I love not having a kettle or a water filter jug taking up space on my counter!

Not only did I buy the above filter (which perhaps seems quite expensive) but I did also get some great customer service and advice on how to rectify an issue I was having with the boiler and tap.

Had the tap installed for a week now. So far so good. Installed myself and it was very easy to do so. Touch-less feature is great.

Installation was easy. Tap is high quality. Digital display on the tank is good like the filter life status that is useful. What could be improved (1) you can only get the extendable spray head in the 4 in 1 configuration, I really wanted only 3 in 1 but wanted the extendable spray head so had to compromise (2) due to the push and hold start and the lack of wifi connectivity (common on most electrical equipment today) you cannot auto switch of the tank when not in use e.g by using a smart plug or a timer plug. When the power returns the tank will only start via the finger press. In times when energy costs are high and the environment at risk more consideration should be taken when designing such products. I would not bu6 again unless these shortfalls would be addressed

There were many oohs and aaahs when we opened the box. It's a thing of beauty, so is the packaging! We had a minor hiccup with the installation as it was leaking from the boiling/filtered water valve. A quick chat with the Repairs and Maintenance guy....our hero for answering the phone on a Sunday.... and a WhatsApp video later, we found a small piece of swarf in the fitting. All fixed now and fingers are crossed for our first boiling water in about 20 mins. 🙂
