I'll start with declaration - I'm not a plumber, my comparisons are from a user perspective and moderately abled DIY'er
The order to delivery was extremely fast, within 2 days, the box contained everything I needed and required no additional plumbing items, aside from a couple of screws to fix the filter to the under sink cabinet.
I got an email from company advising that the install document had an error, around a release valve included in package which wasn't needed. So good that I was aware of this before started install.
the instructions were a little confusing to me, they had pictures and then list of instructions, but the instructions often related to a picture on a previous page, also they referred to an orange pipe, which didn't exist as it was grey. Also another picture was labeled 1,2,3 etc, but the text referred to A,b,c - luckily the order didn't change.
The hoses all felt very good quality and the tap felt equivalent to my existing (Grohe) tap which was excellent.
Hardest part for me was understanding how all the pipes connected and the flow of water - still not sure how the hot water part works!, also finding a suitable space for the tank, the rest was really simple.
After running the water for 2 minutes (says 20 litres but unsure how fast flow rate is) I then switched on unit, however got a message E3 - this is not referred to in manual, so I turned off and turned taps on all 3 for 20 seconds of so each, the boiling tap didn't do anything, but assumed this is because water wasn't in the tank yet?...
I found the filter valve gasket had a kink in and was leaking (showing water was now flowing to the tank) after fixing that and rechecking all the pipes were kink free and tight, tried again.
This time the tank advised it was heating and saw the temp gauge rising from 28 deg up to 90, after some playing around I've left on 95.
When you want boiling water, it takes about 5 seconds to start (as it's not a pressurised system) also its fairly resistant to turning and is on left hand side, so not my normal tap turning hand! however it delivers swift boiling water within seconds and so far I'm delighted!
With some improvements to instructions for DIYers (Ikea style would be ideal) this is great.
As mentioned before the quality of the tap is excellent, the finish is great and the tank looks sleek under the sink.
Very happy.
