The web pages re in the main very well laid out and in paticular care has been taken to use photographs that depict the colour and patterns to expect on the glass. Postage rates might seem high at first glance, however you have to remind yourself about the cost of packaging. Also glass and the liquid commodities are heavy and bring the costs up. However after buying over £200 of glass in several lots not a single piece has been cracked or broken. This latest order of cleaning flux and other chemicals arrived very quickly in December when other deliveries are often slowing down.As a craftworker I dont think Tempsford will grow very rich, but I already feel that my smaller purchases are just as important to the company as the larger orders from commercial artists.

I am very new to the art of Stained Glass, and very far from an artist. As a craftworker I came to Tempsford via a Google search, and I’m so happy that I did. I found all the tools you might want and a few to dream about! I have bought tools, liquid commodities and glass. All very well wrapped and delivered within 3-4 days. The web pages are easy to navigate and no real expertise is needed to find materials to spark new creations. The web manager has clearly taken time and patience to provide photos to show clear and accurate colours of the glass sheets. Unfortunately glass is heavy, but postal charges are fair and even free if you spend enough! The staff are friendly, understanding and very helpful. On the rare occasion that a particular product is not available then you can expect a phone call to discus a substitute or refund. At Tempsford you can be sure that they will meet your needs wether for a new cutter, or glass supplies for a new commission. I have always received five star treatment from Tempsford.
