SWIG Hip Flasks

Lovely presentation and received on time. Just 4 stars as I could not choose where the message was going to be on the flask.

Received a hip flask for my 40th a fantastic present that will last forever. Classic styling that looks great, feels good in the hand will never age.

I bought 3 flasks as gifts for ushers at my wedding and they were brilliant. Although there were a few issues with the delivery I was kept informed throughout and really have nothing to complain about

very light, and also you have to undo the lovely ribbon to see it, and then its impossible to put it back as well!!

My flask arrived OK, but one of SWIG's claims is false. This is the claim: "Usually flasks are made from two pieces of metal welded together, but this method often leads to weakness and cracking along the seams. My flasks have no seams, so they can’t ever leak." This is not accurate. If you look inside a SWIG flask (at least mine), you can plainly see a huge black weld along the entire longitudinal axis, with weld spatter and heat discoloration etc. The flask has no *external* seams, it's true, but to say that it "has no seams" is misleading at best. Sure it won't leak, but I bought the flask mostly because the claim quoted above offered some protection from the vagaries of overseas metallurgy (slag inclusions, non-stainless welds, weak joints etc.). So that is a bit disappointing.
