Contacted Aaron who was extremely helpful at getting me on track for my pond. I had a ton of algae (blue/green, no less) and toxic to my dogs, so he said I should do a water test, which ID'ed the species of algae and confirmed blue/green, also high in phosphates and nitrates, which algae need to grow. . . . . so, he recommended all of the chemicals I needed to treat it as well as maintain the pond over the summer. I added aeration and cut a sluice pipe out of my pond that comes from the other side of the road which is a beef farm/agriculture, which is where much of the nitrates/phosphates originate. Thanks Aaron!!! He got me the chemicals on site to Williamsport within a day or so, which I picked up because the geniuses running NY won't let one of them be shipped here. All in all, I'm 1. 5 months in from the start of treatment and my pond has no algae and is clearing up nicely.
