Recently bought as a final sale 2 of the "All Seasons Cotton Blanket (Lynova) - King/Cal King / Lunar Rock" and they have to be the WORST bedding products I have EVER gotten from any retailer. I used to be so impressed with everything I've ordered from Standard Textile (in fact, I loved their bath sheets so much while staying at a hotel that I order a case of 24 of them, which is how I got to know Standard Textile before they launched their online retail site). Anyhow, these blankets were described as "This mid-weight blanket has just the right amount of weight for any season. It has a subtle puckered texture and is securely hemmed on all edges." In fact, they were extremely COARSE with a rough, Brillo-pad texture and a far, far cry from the quality and texture of anything I've bought from Standard Textile. I wonder if anybody at Standard Textile has even physically checked on the quality of these blankets lately as I see they've been shipped from India because I believe that if they did, they would be, like me, totally appalled by this sorry excuse for a "luxury blanket". As I wrote in my review for these blankets (which Standard as not posted for 2 weeks now), they're really only usable for cutting up to use as cleaning pads where ABRASION is needed - that's how COARSE they are. Ridiculous that Standard Textile would try to pawn this off as in any way "luxurious". I have to say that with this latest purchase, you've lost a customer. Complete and utterly sorry excuse for a blanket and no longer confident in the quality and accuracy of Standard Textile's products. Sorry Standard Textile, we are done.
